The MA400-3 measures and records temperature of a K-type thermocouple temperature sensor from 0°C to 1023°C.

An upper and lower temperature limit are programmable that triggers a buzzer and relay contact.  The MA400-3 can be used in conjunction with an existing alarm system, an external indicator (siren, flashing light), or with an autodialer such as the Input Guard VM500-6.

The RS-232 communication interface allows for configuration and temperature reporting.

The MA400-3 can be used as a standalone temperature logger.  Over 1000 hours of temperature data can be stored on the onboard memory and downloaded to a pc, laptop, or other data collection device at any time. 

Alternatively, the MA400-3 can be used to provide real-time temperature data via a continuous computer connection.
